The driver will pick you from the hotel around 6:30am.it will take us about an hour an hour to reach Marangu Gate 1905m.a.s.i (KINAPA 6250Ft).During the driver to Marangu Gate we will stop somewhere for pick-ups our lunch boxes. You will meet with your professional guide at the gate and you will register yourself ready for Climb.
You will start your trekking around 8:am and its 8km to Mandara hut 2723m/8934ft.Although you will pass through the montane forest, you might be able to see back and while Colubus monkey, blue monkey, impatiens Kilimanjarica,giant heather masses of bearded lichens; remember its uphill throughout the entire hike to Mandara hut where you will have your lunch.

After having your lunch, you will need only 15mins to parasitic cone called maundi Crater 2973m/9754FT.You will have a beautiful views of Mawenzi peak on the nort-west and on the way to the creater you will see bunches of colubus and blue monkeys on trees. From here you can can start going down to the Gate through the same way up. Driver will be at the gate for pick-up back to Hotel/Moshi town.
Wear a good hiking boots, socks, fleece, trecking trouser/shorts, and cap/hat and don’t forget to pack your rain gears on your day pack. You should have a light back bag for your personal equipments such as coppy of your passport, chocolate, sweets and drinking water; remember to take your camera.
